Struggling with Chronic Pain

Kiptoo Lopen

Over the past year, I’ve been battling chronic lower back pain that has gotten steadily worse. It’s exhausting—not just physically, but mentally too. I can barely make it through the day without feeling completely drained, and I find it hard to keep up with everything, especially with the kids and household responsibilities. On top of that, I recently discovered I need to go for an MRI next week to evaluate a few things. I’m really nervous about what the results might show and how that could change things for our family. I’ve tried various treatments—physical therapy, acupuncture, even different medications—but it feels like nothing brings lasting relief. Honestly, some days, I feel overwhelmed. I want to be present for my family, but this pain makes it so hard to enjoy the little things. I know prayer is powerful, and I truly believe that God can bring healing, whether physical or emotional. If you could lift me up this week, especially leading into that MRI, I would appreciate it more than I can say. I’m hoping to find peace and maybe even a little relief soon. Thank you for being there.
