Navigating Tough Family Decisions

안드류 잭슨

Not really sure how to start, but I’ve been wrestling with some pretty heavy family decisions lately. Last week, my father fell and broke his hip; he's recovering but it’s been overwhelming for my mom, and she’s exhausted trying to manage everything by herself. I’m trying to support them both, but I’m also feeling the weight of being the one who has to manage all the moving pieces. It’s frustrating trying to balance my life here at home with my responsibilities there—between visits, errands, and making sure she has what she needs, I feel stretched thin. Honestly, I could use all the prayer I can get. I know they need me, but I also find myself getting easily frustrated and snappy. I just want to show them love and not let my stress spill over. I’m also praying for wisdom to make the right choices moving forward, especially since they might need to move to assisted living soon if things don’t improve. I’ve had some conversations about it, but it's a tough sell, and I want to approach it with grace and understanding. I appreciate any support you can send my way.
