Navigating Career Changes
I'm feeling really overwhelmed right now with my job situation. After working for the same company for over 10 years, I was laid off last month, which hit me like a ton of bricks. I’ve applied to about 12 different positions in the past few weeks, but I keep getting rejection emails. I really thought my experience would speak for itself, but I'm starting to doubt myself. Honestly, I can’t shake this worry about how I’ll pay the rent and keep up with my bills. I’m still trying to support my two kids and I just want to find stability for all of us. I facetiously joked with my friend that I’m becoming an expert at writing cover letters, but I’m also feeling a bit lost about what my next step should be. North of us all is fear surrounding this looming uncertainty - it seems like everyone wants a younger candidate, which doesn't help my confidence. Can you pray that I find a role that not only helps me pay the bills but also aligns with where I feel God is calling me? I'm trying hard to lean on faith and see this as a transition, but it feels heavy some days. Just peace in this process and maybe the right opportunity would be a huge relief. Thank you.
