Finding Peace Amid Grief

五十嵐 浩二 (Igarashi Koji)

It's been a tough few months since my brother passed away unexpectedly in July. I thought I was doing okay at first, but it feels like every corner I turn, something reminds me of him. Honestly, the grief hits me in waves, and I find myself crying at the smallest things—a song, a photograph, even the smell of old cologne. I'm trying to process everything, yet there are days when the weight feels unbearable. I think about our memories together—our family gatherings, the way he'd always make everyone laugh. I just want to hold on to those moments, but I also feel so lost without him. I’m really struggling to find comfort and healing. I know it takes time, but some days I just can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you could pray for strength and peace for me, I would truly appreciate it. I believe that sharing this pain can help, and that’s why I’m turning to you all. I’m hoping for clarity in the days ahead and for a little bit of joy to break through the cloud of sorrow. Thank you for being my support as I navigate through this.
