Praying for Global Peace and Justice

Lindsay Martin

I’ve been feeling heavy-hearted lately as I watch the news unfold around the world. The recent earthquake in Turkey left thousands homeless, and I can’t stop thinking about those families searching for loved ones amidst the rubble. It makes me feel so small, like there’s so little I can do. I know there’s so much need for resources and support, and it seems so overwhelming. It’s hard to wrap my mind around the pain that so many are experiencing right now. And then there's the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. It’s heartbreaking to think of the lives turned upside down, families torn apart, and children living in fear. I find myself wondering how we can find peace again. I’m praying for justice to be served, for leaders to come together and put aside their differences, and for the innocent to be protected. I also want to lift up believers in persecuted areas who are facing unimaginable trials. It’s hard to fathom the strength they must muster daily to stand firm in their faith. If you could join me in prayer for these global concerns, I would be so grateful. Pray for healing, for hope, and for our hearts to be stirred to action as we seek to share love and support across borders. We may feel like we can’t help much on our own, but together, I believe we can make a difference.
