Prayers for Global Peace and Justice
I’ve been really heavy-hearted about so many things happening around the world. There’s just this overwhelming sense of chaos—from the disasters in Fiji with the floods destroying homes to the continued struggles in places like Afghanistan, where simply practicing faith can mean death for so many. Last week, I read about 12 churches being burned in Nigeria just this month, and I cannot shake off the injustice that weighs on my heart. I feel utterly helpless at times. With everything impacting my day-to-day life, it's hard not to feel like I’m juggling so much — work deadlines, family obligations, and just trying to keep my head above water while praying for the world. It feels almost trivial to bring up my worries when there are so many real crises occurring. Still, can I ask for prayers that justice and peace roll in like a tide? That those who believe in hope can stand strong even in helpless circumstances? I pray that God will use these moments to teach us compassion and to stir those of us who can help into action. I know that my small corner of support and prayer isn’t much, but in a world longing for guidance and healing, it's all I can offer right now. Thanks for holding this in your hearts.
