Navigating Family Challenges

Life feels like a whirlwind lately with my two grown kids, Emily and Jake, both going through some tough times. Emily’s been struggling to find her footing after a difficult breakup last month, and she seems so lost and overwhelmed. I see her battling self-doubt, and it breaks my heart that she feels like she can’t talk to me about it. Jake is facing some challenges at work since he was recently laid off. It’s been draining for him emotionally, and I wish I could say the right thing to lift him up. Both of them need direction, purpose, and encouragement in this season. On top of this, my husband and I have been at odds lately over how to handle these situations. He thinks we should let the kids figure things out themselves, while I feel a strong pull to be more involved. I honestly don’t know how to bridge this gap between us. Additionally, my dad’s health has been declining, and that weighs heavily on my heart as I try to juggle everything. It would mean so much to have you all pray for my children’s peace and renewed strength, our family unity, and the wisdom to navigate these discussions without pushing each other away.
