Seeking Peace Amid Chaos
With everything happening in the world lately, it’s been hard to find peace in my heart. The news is relentless—natural disasters, wars flaring up, and persecuted believers across the globe facing unimaginable challenges. I can’t shake the feeling of helplessness thinking about families struggling to survive in places like Afghanistan or the heartbreak of communities hit by hurricanes just months ago. Sometimes, I wonder how my daily stresses compare when there are people literally fighting for their lives and freedom. I’m praying for God’s grace to cover those in distress, and my heart is especially heavy for those believers who are risking everything to worship. They inspire me and challenge me to ask what I can do, even from afar. Would you pray that God provides them not just with safety, but also hope? And somehow, may justice prevail and the aid reach those fogged by despair. I know our prayers have power, but honestly, it sometimes feels like so little against so much suffering. Also seeking prayer for my own balance. As I attempt to manage everyday responsibilities, it can be overwhelming staying focused on these global issues and my local ones. I want to be an agent of peace, not just a bystander. Thanks for standing with me in prayer.
