Seeking Deeper Connections

Lately, I've been feeling a bit isolated. It’s strange because I’m usually surrounded by colleagues and acquaintances, yet I find myself craving deeper connections with those who truly understand me. A few weeks ago, I reached out to an old friend, someone I haven’t talked to in years, hoping to reconnect after all the misunderstandings we had. We exchanged messages and even made plans to meet but the closer it got, the more I realized how scared I am to face the past. I know we’ve both changed, but the weight of previous hurts makes me hesitate. In addition, I've been thinking about my local community. It felt vibrant once, but now it seems fractured, and I’m not sure how to bridge the gaps. I deeply desire to foster some healing among friends who’ve drifted apart or even those I've never fully connected with. There are some events happening next month that could be great for bringing people together, but I feel intimidated to step up and take initiative. Could you pray for courage as I rekindle old friendships and work on building new ones? I trust that God’s plans are greater than my fears, and I’m ready to move forward.
