Searching for Job Clarity

Life can change pretty fast, and right now I'm feeling the weight of that. After being with my company for over 15 years, I've found myself laid off as of last month. The security I took for granted is suddenly gone, and now I'm staring at bills piling up. It’s just me and my savings, which are less than I’d like. It’s tough to grapple with the uncertainty and frustration. I had a good job with a decent salary, and I feel lost trying to navigate the job market at my age. I have an interview lined up this Tuesday for a position that seems promising, but honestly, the anxiety is overwhelming. I attract doubts, second-guessing my experience and whether I can even connect with the younger candidates who seem to be everywhere. Just pray that I can feel grounded in myself and find confidence in my skills during the interview. I want so badly for this to work out, not just for the paycheck but to feel valued again after I've spent so long in one place. More than anything, I'm praying for clarity on my career direction in general. It’s pushing me to rethink what I truly want out of my professional life, but it can also feel paralyzing at times. I hope for guidance to find something that aligns more with my calling. Thank you for your support; it means more than you know.
