Longing for Peace and Justice

It's hard to watch the news lately and see so much turmoil around the world. From the devastating effects of natural disasters like those recent floods in Libya, which have left thousands homeless, to ongoing conflicts that tear communities apart, I feel this heavy weight on my heart. I find myself praying for those families who have lost everything, and I long for peace in places where violence seems to be the only option. Then there are the stories of believers facing persecution, like those in certain parts of Nigeria or Afghanistan, simply for their faith. I can't help but feel an urgency for justice in these situations, where hope often feels distant. I know our prayers matter, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the scale of these injustices and just yearn for a way to contribute positively. If you could keep me and this burden in your prayers, I would appreciate it. I want discernment for how to be an advocate in small but meaningful ways from my corner of the world. Often, I catch myself questioning how to respond when I feel so powerless. But I hold onto the hope that together we can uplift those who are suffering. Thank you for standing with me in prayer.
