Finding Comfort in Grief

It’s been a rough few weeks since my aunt passed away unexpectedly. She was more than just family; she was my confidante and the one who always knew how to lift me up when I was down. I didn’t realize how much her absence would hit me until last week when I found myself staring at her favorite chair, feeling completely lost. I’ve been feeling waves of sadness and confusion; some days it's all I can do to get out of bed and get through the day. Honestly, I know I need to process this loss but it feels so overwhelming right now. I’m trying to hold onto the memories and the love we shared, but sometimes it just feels too heavy. I’m reaching out for prayers for healing and comfort. I'd appreciate prayers to find peace as I navigate this grief. I’m also praying for my family, especially her kids, as they’re struggling deeply with this loss too. It’s been hard watching them hurt. I know with the right support and faith, we’ll find a way to honor her memory and carry on with our lives, but this journey feels so daunting right now.
