Prayers for Global Peace and Justice
There's been so much turmoil in the world lately, and honestly, it's hard not to feel overwhelmed by it all. Just last week, I heard that a devastating cyclone hit the southeast coast of Africa, leaving many families homeless and in desperate need of basic supplies. My heart aches for them, and I feel a strong urge to help, even if that help is just prayer right now. I can't imagine losing everything – homes, livelihoods – in a matter of hours. On top of that, I've been reflecting quite a bit on the plight of persecuted believers around the globe. A friend mentioned a recent report detailing the worsening situation in some parts of Asia where simply worshiping can lead to imprisonment. I feel called to support and uplift them, but sometimes it feels like my small actions or prayers can’t possibly make a difference in the face of such enormous struggles. Can we all pray for those affected by disasters, those seeking justice, and for peace in conflict-ridden countries? It feels like there's a weight on my heart for the world, and I know that collective prayer can be a powerful force. Thank you all for joining me in this.
