Seeking Comfort in Grief

This past month has been incredibly hard. I unexpectedly lost my sister, and it feels like a heavy fog has settled over everything. We were so close, like best friends, talking almost every day. The silence since she’s been gone is deafening. I was with her in her final moments, but that doesn't make the pain any easier to bear. I find myself breaking down at the oddest times—at the grocery store, on my way to work, even in the early mornings when everything is quiet. I want to navigate this grief in a way that honors her memory. I have two kids who are also grappling with the loss, and I need wisdom and strength to help them process their emotions without burying my own. Additionally, this Thursday, I have a family gathering planned, and I’m already anxious about how to handle the inevitable questions about her. Just praying for comfort and healing through this painful time would mean the world to me. I know that grief doesn't follow a timeline, but I want to find peace amid the heartache.
