Navigating Grief and Loss

This past month has been a whirlwind of emotions since my sister passed away unexpectedly. I still can't wrap my head around it. She was not just my sister; she was my confidante and best friend. Some days I feel okay, like I can shift into a routine, but there are moments when the grief feels like a tidal wave. I have this emptiness that I didn't expect; it kind of sneaks up on me when I least expect it. Just last week, a song came on that we cherished together during our childhood, and I broke down in tears—it hit me all over again. It’s hard to focus on prayers of gratitude when I'm constantly reminded of my loss. I genuinely would appreciate prayers for peace and comfort. I’m trying my best to honor her memory, but I am unsure how to even begin to heal. Finding the strength to share my feelings has been a challenge; even talking to friends often feels too hard. If you could hold me in your thoughts, pray for peace for me and my family as we navigate this tough time—especially over the holidays coming up—I'd be so grateful.
