Urgent Need for Global Peace and Justice

Lately, I can’t shake this feeling of heaviness, with everything happening around the world. Just this month, I've seen headlines about another strong earthquake in Turkey, displacing thousands once again—and my heart aches for those families who’ve lost everything. The images of so many in despair remind me of our responsibility and calls for justice in this broken world. As a community, I think about our brothers and sisters facing persecution in various parts of the world. Recently I read about these believers whose only crime is holding their faith in places where it can cost them their lives. They need courage and strength, and I feel so helpless. It’s easy for me to keep busy with day-to-day demands over here, but these issues keep weighing on my mind. As a dad and just someone trying to live a faith-driven life, I want to be part of the solution rather than let injustice roll past me. I feel an internal push to send support, prayers or awareness that makes even a small impact. Honestly, it can feel overwhelming when I think of the enormity of need; still, I hope for change while standing in solidarity. I’m asking for prayer not only for those affected but for our community's ability to respond with love and tangible help. May our prayers spark change and open doors for peace and justice around the world.
