Seeking Peace Amid Global Struggles
I've been feeling really heavy-hearted about everything happening in the world lately. Between the escalating conflicts in multiple regions, the horror of natural disasters that seem to strike more frequently, and the ongoing struggles of persecuted believers in many places, it's hard not to feel overwhelmed. Just this week, I came across a news report about the devastating earthquake in Turkey where thousands have lost homes and lives just in the last month. It’s all just so much to bear on a heart that is aching for justice and peace. I know many of us are praying for our brothers and sisters who live in fear and oppression. I personally feel a call to pray for those facing persecution simply for their beliefs, especially in places where their voices aren't heard. It's difficult to comprehend the reality they face daily, and I can’t shake the feeling that we need to unite in seeking God’s hand over these troubled spots in our world. I would appreciate all your prayers as I navigate these feelings and try to channel my worry into something constructive. It can feel so daunting, but I trust in the power of collective prayer and community. Thank you for standing with me in this.
