Seeking Guidance in Career Change
I've been feeling a strong tug in my heart lately about my career. It’s tough to put this into words, but I’ve been in a stable job for the last eight years, and though it’s comfortable, I've started to feel like I’m not really where I'm supposed to be. Just last week, I had an opportunity come up for a position that aligns more with my passions, but it would mean a significant pay cut. Honestly, I’m torn. I have bills to pay and responsibilities to manage, especially with my family relying on me. The stress of making this decision is heavy. This Tuesday, I’m having an important talk with a mentor who said they’d help me navigate my options, but I’m not sure how to approach it. I want to be open to whatever direction God leads me, yet that voice of doubt creeps in—what if I’m making a huge mistake? Please pray that I’ll find clarity and peace in my heart about accepting changes and trusting God’s timing. I want to grow in my career, not just stay stagnant, and I yearn for wisdom on how to proceed. Thanks for lifting me up during this restless time.
