Navigating Career Changes

I’m in a really uncertain place right now with my career. After 15 years in the same company, I was laid off last month, and honestly, it’s been such a whirlwind. I’ve started applying for other roles but feel overwhelmed by the changes in the job market — so many new technologies and requirements. I have a couple of interviews lined up next week, but I find myself second-guessing my skills and experience. It’s difficult to shake the doubts, especially since I’m not used to job hunting at this stage of my life. I also just found out it’s been a couple of months since my former colleagues have heard anything about new positions opening at the company. I’m anxious about feeling disconnected from a workplace that I once loved and which felt like home. I know I need to lean into this transition, but I’m struggling with fear of the unknown.
