Struggling with Financial Anxiety
Life’s feeling pretty heavy right now. I’ve been dealing with credit card debt that's ballooned to about $5,000, and on top of that, unexpected medical expenses for my wife have piled on additional stress. I feel like I’m constantly making choices between paying bills and putting aside a little something for groceries. The weight of it all is really starting to affect my peace of mind. Last month, I tried to tighten our budget, but then the kids needed a few things for school, and those added expenses threw me off again. I hope to have a clear path forward soon because I just secured a side gig that's supposed to help with some of this — starting next week, I’ll be working a few nights. Please pray for me to manage this extra workload without burning out, and for the opportunity itself to be a blessing rather than just another burden. I don't want the stress of finances to pull me away from my family. I want to show them that it’s possible to handle hard times with faith and grace. Pray also for wisdom when it comes to spending; I want to be a good steward with what we have and help others, even when things are tight. Honestly, it's been a struggle to find that balance.
