Prayers for Global Peace and Justice

Claudia Beattie

It’s hard to wrap my head around everything happening in the world right now, and honestly, it weighs heavily on my heart. The news about the conflicts and natural disasters across different countries feels relentless. I cannot imagine the fear and desperation of those caught up in violence or forced to flee their homes, especially the persecuted believers who are facing unimaginable challenges just for their faith. I’m trying to hold space for them in my thoughts and prayers, but I often feel overwhelmed by the sheer scale of suffering. On top of that, I find it hard to understand how I can help from so far away. I’ve been following a few organizations working towards peace and relief, but it never feels like enough. There’s a sense of urgency to act, yet I sometimes feel paralyzed by the enormity of the problems. I’d love to connect with others who feel this way and maybe brainstorm how we can collectively contribute to bringing about change. Please pray that I—and we—can find clarity and courage to take steps that make a real difference, even in small ways. I want to remain hopeful and be a source of light amidst so much darkness. Thank you for your support and prayers as I navigate these feelings and seek ways to engage meaningfully with the world’s issues.
