Navigating Grief and Loss

Tomás Tomás

It’s been a rough few weeks since losing my brother. He passed unexpectedly just three weeks ago, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. He was only 45, and we were so close. We used to talk every day, sharing everything from the trivial to our deepest fears. I just miss having him to confide in, and the ache in my chest feels unbearable some days. The other night, I found a photo of us taken at our last camping trip, and I just broke down. Honestly, I don't even know how to process all of this. I’m asking for prayers as I work through this grief. I need strength to face each day and the wisdom to remember all the good times without being swallowed by the sadness. I’m trying to hold it together for my family, but some days it feels impossible. It’s been hard to focus, and I keep finding myself zoning out during conversations. I hope to find a way to celebrate his life rather than just mourn his absence. If you could keep my brother in your thoughts, that would mean the world to me. Thank you all.
