Finding Comfort in Grief

सिया वत्सल

This past month has been so hard. I lost my younger brother unexpectedly, and the pain feels almost unbearable. I didn’t realize how much we relied on each other as adults until he was gone. It’s almost like a part of my own heart is missing. The days just blend together, and I find myself haunted by memories, both sweet and devastating. I know I need to process this, but some days it feels too heavy to carry. Hoping for some peace and comfort, which feels elusive right now. I’m trying to lean on my friends for support, but I often feel like a burden. It’s tough when everyone else seems to be moving on, and I just can’t shake this numbness. I just want to honor him and cherish the memories without drowning in sadness. It’s overwhelming, and I find myself struggling to breathe at times. I ask for your prayers – for comfort as I navigate these waves of grief, for strength to keep going each day, and for guidance on how to honor his memory in a way that brings healing rather than heartache. I know God is with me, but I really need to feel that presence more right now.
