Seeking Healing and Comfort

Chijioke Obinna

This past month has been really difficult for me. On the 12th, I lost my dear friend Mary after a long battle with cancer. We spent countless hours talking and sharing our lives, and not having her around feels like an emptiness that I can't quite put into words. I find myself reflecting on all our memories, feeling grateful yet profoundly sad. It’s hard to navigate the day-to-day without her laughter and support. As I process this loss, I’m struggling with the weight of grief. The nights feel particularly heavy, and I often catch myself just staring at the ceiling, wishing I could talk to her one more time. I know I need to lean on my faith and community for healing, but sometimes it feels isolating. If you could pray for comfort and peace for me, I would be so grateful. I want to honor Mary’s memory, but I also need strength to move forward while holding onto the love we shared. Just some sense of reassurance during this tough time would mean so much. Thank you for being there.
