Prayers for Global Peace and Justice

陳凱文

The world feels heavy right now. Between the news of conflicts escalating in different countries, natural disasters wreaking havoc, and the plight of persecuted believers, it’s hard to keep track of it all. Just recently, I've been thinking about the communities in places like Myanmar and Sudan where people are facing terrible injustice and violence simply because of their faith. My heart aches for those enduring such hardships, feeling so small in the face of such vast suffering. I’m also concerned about natural disasters. I remember the devastation that struck Turkey earlier this year and how it took so many lives and displaced countless others. It’s overwhelming to see entire neighborhoods uprooted, families torn apart, and the rebuilding process seems endless. We all have to do our part in supporting these recovery efforts, but sometimes it feels like we’re just bandaging a wound that needs much deeper healing. Please pray with me, for healing on a global scale — for peace where there’s conflict and hope where there’s despair. Let’s not forget those marginalized by circumstances they never asked for. I'm feeling both a sense of urgency and helplessness, yet I know that with our prayers, we're tapping into something greater than ourselves.
