Healing from Loss

Amélie Renard

It's been almost two months since my mom passed away, and honestly, I'm struggling. The gaping hole in my heart feels unbearable at times. I still find myself reaching for my phone to call her, to hear her voice and feel that comfort. It’s the small things—a particular scent or her favorite song—that hit me like waves, pulling me back into the grief. I thought I’d be okay after the initial shock, but it feels like I’m still in the depths of it. I really need prayers for healing. It's hard to focus on anything—work, family responsibilities, even self-care—while I’m constantly navigating this sadness. I know others are dealing with their own pain too, but I'm just pleading for a little peace. I want to honor my mom’s memory and hold on to those good times instead of getting lost in what I've lost. If you could lift me up in your prayers, I would be grateful. I’m trying to lean on my faith, but the struggle feels very real right now. Thank you for being there.
